What is the Histology & Staining Workshop?

This workshop walks you through the full tissue-to-slide workflow. From raw tissue to stained, mounted, interpretable slides — every step that pathologists, histotechnicians, and life-science researchers depend on.

What you will do

Perform tissue fixation, processing, and paraffin embedding
Run microtome sectioning, ribbon handling, and slide mounting
Execute routine H&E staining
Apply special stains — PAS, Masson's Trichrome, AgNOR
Interpret slides under brightfield, phase-contrast, and fluorescence microscopy
Document slides through digital microscopy and ImageJ
